#DontLabelHunger BOARD & COMMITTEE CAMPAIGN TOOLKIT

We need your help! As Feeding Tampa Bay Board and Committee members, you will play a crucial role our 35th anniversary campaign’s success. Word-of-mouth is one of the most powerful forms of advertising, so please spread the word with your networks! The message is simple: For only $6, you can feed a neighbor in need for an entire month.

With this toolkit, we want to provide you with everything you need to get the word out. If you have any suggestions or would like to see new tools added, please email jpeters@feedingtampabay.org and htaylor@chappellroberts.com.

Dispelling Hunger Stereotypes:

Hunger is usually stereotyped as homelessness, but hunger often looks like you and me. It affects kids, single moms, fathers trying to support their family, and seniors on a fixed income. Hunger happens to everyday people, every day.

The “Don’t Label Hunger” campaign seeks to dispel these negative stereotypes about hunger. By addressing these labels head-on, we can seek to create understanding among the general public and empower people to join Feeding Tampa Bay’s mission.
