Tampa Bay Buccaneers Stand for a Hunger-Free Community

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are committed to the fight against hunger in our region. Through food donation efforts, mobile pantries, fundraising events and holiday distributions, the Buccaneers provide thousands of meals every year to neighbors in need.

Dedicated to providing long-term sustainability for families in our area, the team’s defensive line is taking on hunger as its lead opponent by spearheading a recurring, bi-weekly Buccaneers Mobile Food Pantry in East Tampa throughout all of 2022.

On the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, from 4:30-6:00 pm at Middleton High School, up to 250 families will receive fresh, healthy groceries, including items like produce, meat, dairy and bread. These grocery distributions will be free of charge to recipients, helping to provide more sustainability for those we serve.

This initiative has been supported by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation Social Justice Fund, which provided a matching grant to ensure this pantry would continue throughout 2022.
