At Feeding Tampa Bay, we know that nutrition goes well beyond the bounds of the dinner table. Good eating habits can have even better effects on your health and general well-being. More specifically, they can lower your risk of disease, strengthen your immune system, and improve mental processes and performance. Food, after all, can be an effective medicine.

In honor of National Nutrition Month, we want to highlight the importance of Feeding Florida’s Nutrition Education program. Our organizations are dedicated to helping our neighbors build healthier and more sustainable lives. So the program provides you with tools to maximize your SNAP budget, make informed food choices, and cook healthier meals.

To view the list of current online courses, check out FloridaNutritionEd.org. They’re all free, kid-friendly, and available to complete at your own pace!

FTB also offers in-person classes for seniors at locations across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties. Check out this month’s calendar of courses here!
