Your Time Helps End Hunger

Just one hour of volunteer work generates exponential meals to feed our neighbors in need. When you give your time, you’re directly contributing to the livelihood of your neighbors. From sorting non-perishable goods in our warehouse to serving meals and groceries, with every volunteer opportunity, you make a direct impact on the wellbeing of our community.

Now. More Than Ever.

Feeding Tampa Bay is considered an essential facility – working hard to ensure vulnerable neighbors across our 10-county service territory have the food they need through any crisis that arises.

Volunteers are crucial to these efforts and play a large role in the deployment of our emergency programs. If you are willing and able to volunteer in crisis situations, like a hurricane or pandemic, become a part of our emergency response volunteer team.

Sort Essentials

Volunteers are responsible for making sure all food is processed through our warehouse and placed in the hands of those who need it most. By packing and sorting essential food, you help provide for the thousands of children, families and seniors we serve.

Distribute Hope

Break barriers to access by distributing fresh groceries in the heart of areas that need it most. Place nutritious foods directly into the hands of our neighbors and connect with your community in a new way.

Email our team if you’d like to add/remove someone from your group. If you need to remove just yourself from an opportunity, you can do that under “Account Overview” while you’re logged in.

Will you still host volunteering in the event of bad weather?

Yes — we serve our community, rain or shine. If there is extensive present danger to our volunteers and operations (lightning, high winds, etc.), we will cancel or end early. You will be notified via email as soon as decisions are made. If you choose to stay home or are unable to attend, we completely understand, just be sure to remove yourself from the opportunity.
