food procurement bid for the summer food service program

Food procurement bids will be accepted for Feeding Tampa Bay to secure food products for our Summer Food Service Program. We will be providing 2,200 lunches and 2,530 snacks daily during the summer through SFSP. Menus have already been identified and items needed are in the attachment. Information and specifications for the ITB may be obtained at the center located at 3624 Causeway Blvd, Tampa, FL 33619 or linked below. Bids will be opened at the above address on 4/4/2025 at 12:00 pm.

On the bid do we need to sign on submission or sign off if we are awarded the bid?

I believe you sign off on submission.

The clause in the bid says you cannot have a delivery past 3 hours of the delivery time, and 2 days of delivery. What is the delivery time and what are the 2 days?

We will work with you on delivery days and times. I just needed to put in there we would need deliveries 2 days a week due to the volume of food we will be producing and our ability to store it.

Also, with the pricing, items out of our control such as these tariffs that were just enacted may change the price of items that are out of our control. How would we manage such circumstances?

You should put an “*” on the document stating that you will do your best to hold on pricing, however with government changes on tariffs, it may affect some products. If price is increased more than “x” FTB has the option to source this product from another vendor.
