Meet Heather

My husband and I grew up in the foster system. We met and fell in love as young teenagers. Today, we have six beautiful children and work very hard to keep our family together, happy and always loved. My husband installs roofs and during the summer we experience many low days due to rainfall. We never forget the support our local food pantry offers in these times. I’m now also working full time to help support the family. Child care and cost of living is very expensive and daunting at times. As long as my family stays together I feel we can survive anything.
