FAQs

Who can visit the Feeding Pinellas Empowerment Center?

Food insecurity can affect anyone: our neighbors, coworkers, the elderly, and classmates. Many people who need our help work hard day in and day out, but were one layoff, tragedy or natural disaster away from needing assistance. We embrace our similarities and differences alike to reinforce the strength of our impact. We honor and serve all of our neighbors compassionately and free of prejudice.

I want to get involved. What can I do?

Whether you want to stock the shelves of our onsite food pantry, distribute meals at our Trinity Cafe, or assist guests in accessing public benefits, when you volunteer, you are making a real impact on your neighbors’ lives. You can feel good knowing that you’ve made a difference when you see how food lifts people’s spirits. To volunteer at our Feeding Pinellas location, please contact the Feeding Pinellas Volunteer Supervisor, Antoine Everett at aeverett@feedingtampabay.org.

How can my organization get involved?

Food starts the conversation. Ongoing assistance provides long-term sustainability. This is why Feeding Pinellas is inviting local agencies to come together to offer additional services to anyone that walks through our doors. We all strive for a hunger-free Pinellas County and we will work together to help those we serve get one step closer to health and capability.

If your organization is interested in running programs, utilizing space, or offering services to our guests, please contact the Feeding Pinellas Community Empowerment Center Manager, Ragan McGillis at rmcgillis@feedingtampabay.org.

I didn't find what I was looking for. Where can I find all Feeding Tampa Bay resources?
